Terms of Use
Rules for using PICNYM.
Effective: 8 August 2026 · Last updated: 8 August 2026
1. Agreement and eligibility
By accessing or using PICNYM, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old. PICNYM may require age confirmation or other age-assurance steps where platform rules or local law require them.
2. Accounts and profiles
You are responsible for your account credentials and activity. Usernames, display names, bios and profile pictures must not unlawfully impersonate another person or violate another person’s rights. PICNYM may restrict accounts or profiles for safety, abuse prevention or legal compliance.
3. Anonymous messaging
PICNYM normally hides a sender’s profile from the inbox owner. A signed-in sender may voluntarily attach their profile to one message. Limited technical signals may still be processed for security, blocking, rate limits, spam control and aggregate analytics. Do not use anonymity to harass, threaten, deceive or harm others.
4. Friends and inbox restrictions
PICNYM may provide friend requests, registered-user-only inboxes and friend-only inboxes. Do not use these features to impersonate, stalk or pressure other users. Users can disable discoverability, turn off requests and remove connections.
5. Your content
You retain rights to your content where applicable. By submitting content, you grant PICNYM the limited permission required to host, process, transmit, display to the intended recipient, generate requested cards, store and moderate that content. You must have the right to submit anything you upload.
6. Public answers and sharing
Inbox owners may deliberately publish answered messages to their profile or share generated cards outside PICNYM. Poll and prompt links may also be shared. Do not submit information that could seriously harm you if the recipient chose to share it.
7. Prohibited use
You may not use PICNYM for threats, harassment, stalking, blackmail, extortion, fraud, impersonation, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, sexual content involving minors, malware, illegal transactions, deliberate privacy violations, automated abuse, attempts to bypass security controls or other unlawful or seriously harmful conduct.
8. Moderation and enforcement
PICNYM may remove content, limit functionality, preserve relevant records where legally permitted, restrict accounts or take other proportionate action to protect users, the service or comply with law. Product controls include hidden-word filters, link pausing, reports, blocks and deletion.
9. Polls and prompts
Polls are informal user-generated features and are not guaranteed to be representative or fraud-proof. Prompt suggestions are optional conversation starters; users remain responsible for the content they choose to send or share.
10. PICNYM Premium
PICNYM may offer a paid Premium plan. Any displayed price or feature list is informational until payment processing is activated and final billing terms are published. Premium will not entitle a user to another person’s hidden email, exact location, IP address or device fingerprint.
11. Availability and deletion
PICNYM is an evolving service. Features may change, be interrupted or be discontinued. Uninterrupted operation and permanent storage are not guaranteed. Inbox and account deletion normally cannot be undone, and limited infrastructure logs or backups may persist temporarily under provider practices.
12. No misuse of security or anonymity features
Do not try to identify anonymous senders through unauthorized access, exploit the service, evade rate limits, obtain another person’s private dashboard or owner token, scrape private data or interfere with PICNYM infrastructure.
13. Disclaimer, changes and contact
PICNYM is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. User-generated content represents the user who submitted it, not PICNYM or its developer. These Terms may be updated as the service develops.
