PICNYM

Safety

Anonymous does not mean uncontrolled.

Last updated: 8 August 2026

PICNYM hides a sender’s profile from the inbox owner by default, but it does not promise absolute technical anonymity. Limited technical signals may be processed to stop spam, duplicate voting and abuse.

Your controls

Inbox owners can pause a link, require signed-in users or friends, disable media formats, set hidden words, delete messages, report concerns and block a sender from sending again. Public answers are opt-in.

What is not allowed

Do not use PICNYM to harass, threaten, impersonate, stalk, blackmail, exploit, defraud or deliberately endanger another person. Illegal content, non-consensual intimate content, sexual content involving minors, malware and rights-infringing uploads are prohibited.

Anonymous does not mean invisible to infrastructure

PICNYM and its infrastructure providers may process network and browser information, timestamps and generated identifiers for security, rate limiting, duplicate-vote prevention and abuse control. Ordinary inbox owners do not receive this technical data.

Age and responsible use

PICNYM is intended only for people aged 18 and above. Anonymous messaging can involve unexpected user-generated content, so access may be restricted or age-verified where platform rules or local law require it. Never pressure someone to disclose private information or take part in unsafe activity.

Report a serious concern

Use the in-product report control, or contact the project developer through GOJO.DEV or +234 903 305 6594. Include the relevant PICNYM link and useful context, without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
